The Blaze Report
Appearance:
We really liked the silver dressing around the lower half of the cigar. Solid to the touch with a hearty, brown and light oily wrapper. The aroma had some spice and some earthiness. A bold pre-light smell of dried fruits and spices, especially at the foot.
1st Third:
A slight resistance to the draw that delivered smoke with a big aroma and rich full flavors to the palate. Then just like that a very smooth draw, which delivered creamy smoke to the palate. Some spicy aromas developed through the nose.
2nd Third:
A delicious aroma embarks early on and doesn’t quit for the duration of the cigar. Spices also developed and lingered on the finish and became very intense through the nose. The smoke was thick and chewy mouth feel. Alone with the aroma continued to develop and had a very enticing character with consistent spices.
Final Third:
The aroma continued to develop and had a luring character with consistent spices. With a slow and even burn that held on to along and flaky ash. Plenty of flavor with a present body that lingers in the background. Yes the cigar’s flavors continued to develop and intensify as the body became more pronounced.
