Maldonado Dynasty Mogul Cigars “Luxuriously Smooth”

Maldonado Dynasty’s premier blend is called “The Mogul,” and was created after more than a year’s of testing different blends.  They created a unique blend that temps the palette with rich and complex flavors, a robust body, sinfully-delicious aroma, and a smooth finish.  Even their band and box design took some time to reach the perfection they were aiming to deliver.  Ultimately, the entire cigar represents the foundational aspects of a mogul – powerful, elegant and prestigious.

After finding out that Maldonado partnered with La Aurora Cigar Factory, I knew that this was going to be a very enjoyable smoke.   First, you will notice an oily brown wrapper with sweet hay notes on the pre light smell.  There was some tooth present, but it did not distract from the overall cigar which has very good construction.  Upon lighting, the Mogul had a slow and even burn that held on to a long dark ash.  The draw was very smooth and put out plenty of full flavored, dense smoke on the palate.

The smoke also had a good amount of dense texture, with flavors getting complex and a little spicy toward the cap.  This richness progressed with a nice creamy medium texture and a fullness in strength to match.

Overall, the Mogul is a solid medium body cigars with good construction and rich flavor.  It is an effortless smoke with unique character that you are sure to enjoy.
