Featured African American Cigar Brands.

Black History Month, or National African American History Month, is an annual celebration of achievements by Black Americans and a time for recognizing the central role of African Americans in U.S. history.

Since 1976, every U.S. president has officially designated the month of February as Black History Month. Other countries around the world, including Canada and the United Kingdom, also devote a month to celebrating Black history.

We wanted to take the time to highlight some cigar brands that are owned by African Americans during the month of February.  They are major players in their own right within the cigar industry.  We will feature the following: El Primer Mundo Cigars (Sean Williams), Pura Soul Cigars by (Robert Wright), Epic Cigars (Dean Parsons), Wilson Adams Cigars (Brandon K. Wilson) and Dignity Cigars (Don Juan Gross).  I would like to personally thank El Primer Mundo Cigars, Pura Soul Cigars, Epic Cigars, Wilson Adams Cigars and Dignity Cigars for sending in their samples to The Average Joe’s Cigar Blog.  It is truly a pleasure and an honor to review and blog your brands.
