Press Release: Wilson Adams Unveils Limited Edition Mr. Wilson
Wilson Adams Cigar Company is set to debut their first limited edition cigar, the Mr. Wilson. The
official release date is May 19th, which also happens to be the birth-date of company owner,
Brandon Wilson.
“This cigar is what I believe to be the excellence of execution. If you are familiar with Wilson
Adams Cigars, you know I take pride in blending each cigar to be elegant, smooth, balanced and
full of flavor. This cigar has all that with the added bonus of being full-bodied and full-strength. I
wanted to give cigar smokers a phenomenal smoke they can look forward to once a year.”
The Mr. Wilson is a single size, 6 1/8 x 52 torpedo featuring a Mexican wrapper with an
undisclosed binder and primarily Nicaraguan filler. Like the White Label Habano and Red Label
Sumatra, The Mr. Wilson is manufactured at Plasencia Cigars S.A. in Estelí, Nicaragua.
The company is producing 2,500 total cigars coming in the form of 150 ten-count boxes and 100
ten-count bundles. The MSRP is $120 a box, with a single cigar price of $12.
The release not only marks the first time the company has rolled a torpedo but is also a
benchmark for company owner Brandon Wilson.
“This was the first cigar that wasn’t a collaborative effort within the company, so it was special to
me. That’s why It’s called Mr. Wilson and the cigar will launch on my birthday. It is the rebirth of
my company,” comments Wilson.
National release is planned to coincide with an event on May 30th at Underground Cigar Shop &
Lounge in Forth Worth, Texas.
