Crowned Heads is a premium cigar company committed to producing cigars of artisanal quality that are defined by a combination of excellent flavor, balance, and consistency.
They believe in continuous improvement and in a marriage of tradition with innovation. They feel that tobacco lives, breathes, and speaks to us; it leads the blend and it names the brand. As Michelangelo once said, “Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.”
The cigar company is bonded to a belief in strict attention to detail, and they remain meticulously focused upon every aspect of their products and their brand. It is an exclusive and select group of retail partners that will offer their brands. Crowned Heads’ goal is not to be everywhere, but rather, to provide an unparalleled level of service, attention, and excellence to those that support them.
1st quarter: A very smooth draw allowed lots of rich, full flavored smoke through to the palate. There were lots of earthy tobacco and sweet notes present – it was very clean on the palate with a creamy texture starting to develop. 2nd quarter: Creaminess and hints of sweetness were present. Spicy undertones were introduced and an even burn from the cigar produced a long and tight gray ash. Earthy tobacco notes with a spicy sweet character picked up as I continued. 3rd quarter: A medium body with rich full flavors continued to develop and intensify during the cigar journey. There was good spice through the nose with a well-rounded texture on the palate. 4th quarter: While its smooth characters continued, bolder flavors began to appear. While there was complexity, it will not be overwhelming to the Average Joe as it gradually built in body and flavors. By the end, it became a full body smoke, offering both tons of flavor as well as a rich and spicy aroma.
The Crowned Heads Headley Grange cigar developed into a full body smoke with a flavorful finish that left a lasting impression. It was very tasty and effortless to enjoy with great construction.
