Victor Calvo Premium Cigars a growing vision in Estelí, Nicaragua. His cigars are hand selected and rolled by Tabacalera Tambor de Estelí.

Appearance:

This cigar has a hearty dark and oily smooth wrapper.  A sweet and rich and clean pre-light smell.  Mild floral, earthy and hints of cocoa aroma.

 Journey Profile:

1st quarter: One lit immediately carried into the aroma of the smoke.  The draw was very smooth and effortless delivering dense and creamy clouds of smoke.  Peppery spices immediately hit the palate through the nose and noticed in the aroma.  2nd quarter: Some cocoa texture with an earthy aroma.  Creamy texture with a smooth spices on the palate and continued through the nose.  Smooth draw producing dense full flavored smoke.  3rd quarter: A rich earthiness flavor and well balance well the cigar is being smoked down.  Peppery spices continued to develop with deep and rich tobacco notes.  Nutty texture and some creamy smoke through to the palate.  Rich aroma on the palate while the aroma continued to develop and intensify in richness.  4th quarter: Consistent spice was detected through the nose with earthy characters and rich tobacco notes.  Flavors and aroma continued to develop with a unique sweetness.  Luring and enjoyable with a great finish, body and balanced flavors that developed right down to the finish.

Final Thoughts:

A medium-fully body was always present but didn’t overwhelming the palate; producing rich tobacco flavors with all the subtle nuances to stand in front.  Maintain its integrity and flawless burn exceptional construction.  Overall an extremely well made, full flavored rich cigar with an outstanding aroma.
