Royal Links Golf Club was built to honor the rich history and tradition of the game of golf. Designed by Dye International, this links-style course features holes inspired by eleven different British Open rotation courses, including the “Road Hole” and “Hell Bunker” from the old course at St. Andrews and the “Postage Stamp” from Royal Troon. Other courses in the loop include Carnoustie, Turnberry, Royal Liverpool, Prestwick, Royal Lytham, Muirfield and Royal Birkdale.

While you may believe you’re experiencing the past in a distant land upon entering the gates to our castle-turned-clubhouse, you’ll be at one of closest courses to the Las Vegas Strip and less than 20 minutes from its famed, futuristic ambience. With Swilcan Bridge and a statue of Old Tom Morris just outside its massive doors, the clubhouse’s hallowed halls honor the game’s home as much as the course itself: You’ll delight in the same rich stylings and authentic atmosphere that greet those vying for the Claret Jug from the very moment you enter. A grand selection of treasurable merchandise is available in our top-rated golf shop, along with a cherished scroll featuring the signatures of the many players who’ve tested their skills here. Among them? Three-time Open champion and owner of our course record, Tiger Woods. Since the castle would be incomplete without genuine Scottish-style fare, Stymie’s Puboffers a modernized setting to sip ice-cold Guinness and indulge in Shepherd’s Pie while watching the latest sporting events.

Let’s talk about the 11 courses of the British Open rotation. They’re legendary. They’re fabled. They’re part of the game’s rich history. And, as such, they’re incredibly maintained to ensure a world-class experience for pros, amateurs and golf enthusiasts alike. Across the pond, the characteristics of the courses are quite unique and are significantly different than courses you may be used to here in the United States. Now imagine transplanting 18 of the best holes from Scotland and England across the world to the desert climate of Las Vegas. To honor the heritage of these courses at our very own Royal Links Golf Club, we uphold the same standards when it comes to maintaining our pristine fairways and greens.

Aerification Information
While there are no upcoming aerification procedures scheduled, we realize this process may be an inconvenience affecting dates of play. Aerification, though, is crucial in maintaining the pristine state of our turf, as it allows oxygen to reach the deep, healthy roots beneath the surface. Once the fairways and greens have healed, you’ll enjoy optimal playing conditions that benefit both your score and your Open experience.
Overseeding Information
As with aerification, there are no upcoming overseeding procedures at Royal Links Golf Club. To ensure our course’s turf is tour-level tournament-ready and to repair any wear caused from golf cart usage, we overseed in the latest months of summer so our fairways and greens are as exquisite as those you’d see across the pond year-round.

We strongly recommend enhancing your round with our traditional caddies and forecaddies. Without the help of a seasoned looper on your bag to enlighten you with championship history and offer insight that’ll save you strokes, you won’t be experiencing the centuries-old sport the way it was truly intended to be played.

To make your British Open experience stress-free with a low score, we’ll provide you the option to rent the cutting-edge equipment that’s seen in the bags of globetrotting pros for a minimal fee: Top-of-the-line Callaway Golf XR clubs, available in multiple configurations to suit your individual playing style.
Lockers and Shoe Service
Consistent with the timeless traditions still held at high-end courses around the world, Royal Links Golf Club offers a refined locker room to store items during your round and services to tidy your messy, grass-filled golf shoes after you finish. Should you opt to leave your own kicks at home along with your clubs, FootJoy golf shoes are included in each fully-stocked rental set.

Nearly every tournament-winning and record-breaking professional golfer has an expert in the art of the golf swing as a part of their entourage. Led by Mike Davis, the Walters Golf Academy offers a fully-grassed range and an excellent place to learn how to execute shots the way a big name vying for the Claret Jug would: Golf Magazine recognized Mike as one of the “Top 100 Teachers In America.”
