“TheTraveler” Is a unique cigar with binders and fillers made out of one of the rarest leaves In the world: Pelo de Oro. This cigar has been artfully blended by the man himself – Luciano Meirelles and is wrapped in a perfectly fermented Sumatra leaf.

Our Factory
Founded by Don Eradio Pichardo, who is originally from Habana, Cuba, Tabacalera Pichardo comes from a rich history of tobacco aficionados. Don Eradio is a third-generation tobacco agriculturist. The legacy of Pichardo’s family began when his grandfather developed an intricately revolutionary irrigation technology for the tobacco fields of pre-revolution Cuba. His father was also an expert in tobacco fermentation. After garnering decades of experience, Pichardo’s first tabacalera, Dhatuey Tobaccos, was founded in 2005 in Esteli, Nicaragua. Later, in order to honor his family’s legacy, the Cuban phenomenon came to establish a factory named for his inherited history and his own amassed expertise: Tabacalera Pichardo.
Pichardo’s accumulated knowledge in all the processes of tobacco and cigar manufacturing makes him one of the greatest, most well-rounded Master Blenders of our time.
In 2014 Pichardo partnered up with the tobacconist and sommelier Luciano Meirelles, who helped expand the operations of the factory. Tabacalera Pichardo has been silently manufacturing premium cigars for major U.S. and international brands under NDA’s. The decision of becoming an outsourcing company for other brands made it possible for the factory to expand manufacturing capabilities and to develop one of the most sophisticated tobacco farms in Ecuador.
Recently, Tabacalera Pichardo joined forces with A.C.E. PRIME creating a completely vertical operation. A.C.E. Prime is a cigar distribution company formed by the partnership of the NBA champion Tiago Splitter & Luciano Meirelles.
