Yes I couldn’t agree more a lustrous golden wrapper with an interesting pre-light on the foot reminding me of cinnamon toast and cedar notes.
Journey Profile:
1st Third:
Smooth sweet flavor with no resistance to the draw. Light body and flavors at first that slowly developed spice in the nose with a creamy mouth-feel as it’s opening up into the body of the cigar. Some cedar and light tobacco notes.
2nd Third:
Rich aroma to the smoke with a slow burning with a razor edge and a long dense ash. Sweet earthiness with a lot of spice in the nose and some coffee like notes on the palate. A slow build in body and packed with flavor. Lingering spice that continuously developed.
Final 3rd:
Some notes similar to coffee with an herbal-earthiness on the palate. An even burn the whole way through. More of this amazing spice and creaminess on the palate and an underlying nuttiness that worked very well with the earthiness and nutty texture.
Final Thoughts:
Some notes similar to coffee with an herbal-earthiness on the palate. A very gradual build in body medium-full with a long and spicy finish. Lot of spice and earthy notes all the way through. Some complexity to the smoke with a full aroma. Extremely well made, effortless to smoke a smooth and elegant cigar. Well balanced.
