Villiger Cuellar Black Forest Cigar Review.
ABOUT VILLIGER SONS LIMITED AND VILLIGER NORTH AMERICA:
|
There’s a very attractive dark and noticeably oily box-pressed wrapper. It has a clean pre-light smell of cocoa, cedar and earthiness. There’s also a sweet richness smell on the body with light notes of tea.
Journey Profile:
1st Third:
There was a slightly resistance that provided a smooth draw with a lot of smoke. Rich tobacco notes with some creamy smoke through to the palate. Some cedar notes with an incredible perfect amount of black pepper on the palate and through the nose.
2nd Third:
More of some underlying sweet tones with spices through the nose. Creaminess with a coffee bean texture and in the aroma along. Some earthy hay-like notes that carried order to the flavor and well into the 2nd third of the Cuellar Black Forest.
Final 3rd:
Some bold texture with bold spicy flavors that hit the palate and evenly on the palate. Creamy texture with some woody notes. Tobacco notes with a underlying cedar and earthiness a bean like texture finishing the final third.
Final Thoughts:
The cigar started off with a big flavorful character and a creamy texture that intensified with the body as the cigar was smoked down. Full flavored and medium body with an excellent construction with a mostly even burn and an incredibly smooth character. An overall bombshell of flavor very well made and rich tobacco flavors down to the nub.
