MACANUDO PARTNERS WITH BARSTOOL SPORTS FOR NATIONAL GOLF TOURNAMENT.
Macanudo Inspirado announced that the brand is partnering with Barstool Sports, the maverick sports lifestyle platform, and has been named the official cigar of the Barstool Classic Golf Tournament kicking off today at the Innisbrook Island Course in Palm Harbor, FL.
This year, the Barstool Classic is executing 20 stops with 26 events in 19 states, plus a four-day Championship at Pinehurst Resort. Through its sponsorship of the Barstool Classic, Macanudo will deliver brand experiences at all 26 qualifying tournaments and the four-day Championship. A national online sweepstakes and in-store events will expand the program’s reach throughout the country.
Barstool Sports is a next-generation media company that combines sports with pop culture to engage fans through innovative programming that spans digital and experiential activations.

This is the third year of the Barstool Classic, and all tournaments are sold out.
As the official cigar of the Barstool Classic, Macanudo Inspirado will have a branded mobile humidor onsite at each tournament. Laurel Tilley, Macanudo’s brand ambassador will be onsite at most tournaments to host Macanudo Inspirado brand experiences where she’ll assist with cutting and lighting of Macanudo Inspirado, and share her top tips to help make all cigar smokers look like pros.
Additionally, Macanudo Inspirado content will light up the Barstool Sports social feeds and vice versa throughout the tournament with Instagram stories, tweets, YouTube videos and more.
To drive its partnership with Barstool Sports, Macanudo is running the Macanudo Inspirado Barstool Sports Online Giveaway which features monthly prizes and a grand prize. Enter at Macanudo.com/barstool. From May through September, a monthly drawing will be held, with one winner receiving a 250-count stainless steel humidor complete with Spanish cedar shelves and a soft-touch digital thermometer. In September, two grand prize winners will each receive the Macanudo Inspirado Barstool Sports Limited Edition Golf set consisting of TaylorMade golf clubs as well as a co-branded golf bag and head covers featuring the Macanudo and Barstool Sports logos.
Macanudo’s sponsorship of the Barstool Classic will also be activated at retail events to be held at select cigar shops across the country. Putting contests and giveaways of Macanudo Inspirado and Barstool Sports swag will allow cigar smokers of legal smoking age to get in on the action.
