Third Cigar in Alec Bradley’s Experimental Series Heading to Tobacconists

Alec Bradley Cigar Company today announced that Double Broadleaf- Experimental Series, which debuted to great fanfare at the 2022 Premium Cigar Association (PCA) Trade Show, July 8-12 in Las Vegas, Nevada, just started shipping to tobacconists. The third installment in the company’s Experimental Series, and the first full cigar line release by Alec Bradley since 2020’s Project 40 Maduro, the Alec Bradley Double Broadleaf- Experimental Series is a welcomed and unique addition to the company’s cigar portfolio.

The Double Broadleaf cigar blend was created, as a part of the Experimental Series, to go beyond the flavor boundaries of the company’s current offerings. Featuring wrapper and binder leaves of Alec Bradley’s proprietary, first-grow Connecticut Seed Honduran Broadleaf tobacco, Double Broadleaf produces a well-balanced, smooth, yet very bold smoking experience.

Double Broadleaf exemplifies the ‘Experimental Series‘ perfectly; it tested our knowledge of agronomy, blending and the market,” said Second Generation Cigarmaker, Bradley Rubin. “We grew Broadleaf tobacco in Honduras from heritage Connecticut seeds, combined it with other premium tobaccos from Nicaragua and Honduras, and we’re now shipping a flavorful cigar that delivers the extra horsepower our brand advocates have been asking us for.”

Offered in 5 sizes, the Alec Bradley Double Broadleaf- Experimental Series is being presented in luxurious green and natural wood, dual-tone, 24-count boxes. Spotlighting the proprietary Honduran Broadleaf wrapper and first binder, the aptly named Double Broadleaf blend is completed with an additional binder leaf from Nicaragua, all atop filler tobaccos from Honduras and Nicaragua. Double Broadleaf is available in the following sizes, with the corresponding US MSRP’s, before any applicable taxes. International pricing may differ.

Fort Lauderdale, FL (May 5, 2022) Alec Bradley Cigar Co. today announced the upcoming release of the Limited Edition ‘Taste of the World Chunk’ sampler for Father’s Day 2022. First created as a gift from Rubin brothers, Alec and Bradley, to their father, Alec Bradley founder Alan Rubin, the sampler contains 8 cigars sized at 4 1/4″ X 60 ring gauge. Uniting two cigars each of Alan’s Black Market and Magic Toast blends with two cigars each of Alec & Bradley’s Gatekeeper and Kintsugi blends, only 2000 samplers will be produced. Chunk sizes of Gatekeeper and Kintsugi are exclusive to this sampler, while Black Market Chunk’s regular production is limited to Canada. Magic Toast Chunk is a globally available item. Alec Bradley is pre-selling the samplers exclusively to US appointed tobacconists now, with shipping scheduled for the end of May, ahead of the Father’s Day sale season. MSRP has been set to $74.95 per sampler.
