Gurkha Ghost Connecticut and Grand Age II Cigar… featured in The Blaze Report.

Gurkha Ghost Connecticut and Grand Age II Cigar.

Brand Profile:

The Gurkha Grand Age II, a follow-up to the original Grand Age that has been on the market for several years. It keeps the same treasure chest packaging design but with better organization of the three blends inside: a Connecticut, a habano and a maduro. All of the wrappers come from Nicaragua, while the binder and filler are undisclosed. Production is handled by our Las Villas Cigars cigars factory in Nicaragua.

The Grand Age II is a fun project we’ve been developing over the past few months,”  Jim Colucci, President and CEO of Gurkha Cigars, said in a press release.  “We discovered an allotment of Grand Age boxes in our factories and decided we wanted to do something special with them, bringing a new spin on a favorite Gurkha packaging.  We developed an insert to house three different toro size cigars in one master box.  We’re partnering with a new factory and we just loved the blend so we decided to showcase it in this manner and bring it to consumers.”

Vitola (Size): Asura 6×54

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Connecticut

Binder:Mexican

Filler:Nic/Dom/USA

Pairs Perfectly With:

Zacapa 23 Rum
Zacapa No. 23 is an award-winning Ultra Premium aged rum, masterfully crafted in Guatemala using the first press of sugar cane and aged 2300m ‘Above the Clouds’ to slow the aging process, developing layers of aromas and flavors within the rum. The balance of delicate and unique flavors of Zacapa No. 23 is derived from a blend of aged rums between 6 and 23 years old, originating from our take on the “Sistema Solera” aging process. Zacapa No. 23 is aged in selected barrels that previously aged robust American whiskey, delicate sherries and fine Pedro Ximénez wines
