The Blaze Report

Appearance:

It’s a attractive looking cigar with a dark-brandy appearance, smooth and lightly oily wrapper and a slightly tangy earthy pre-light smell and taste. 

1st Third:

Starting off with a very nice even burn and excellent construction some cocoa and coffee notes detect with big tobacco flavor. The draw was smooth and effortless  to enjoy overall.  The aroma was unique with some chocolate brownies which continued to develop into earthy peppery spice while retro-haling the smoke through the nose.

2nd Third:

Rich and spicy aroma with wood, tobacco and earth notes on the palate, a consistent burn through with a slow build in the body and flavor. Also there was spice in the aroma that lingered in the taste through the finish of each puff. The flavors were balanced on the palate and had a mouthwatering sweet and spicy characters.

Final Third:

The burn was slow and extremely even, producing a flaky ash. Full flavors with spices developed in the back end of each puff, as well as some peppery characteristics that were noticed in the nose.

Making the Grade

Final Thoughts:

Very well made cigar. Outstanding construction. A slow and even burnt that hug on to a light gray ash. Bold and spicy as this cigar was medium to a delicate full, it had a very clean taste and finish.  Never overwhelmed the palate yet was able to deliver a full bodied experience with an awesome aroma.
