DIESEL TO LAUNCH NEW VINTAGE SERIES SIZE, GIGANTE

Diesel is going big by adding a new frontmark to its Vintage Series Maduro and Vintage Series Natural lines. The new cigar — a 6” X 60 Gigante — offers a signature Diesel smoking experience in a popular,  bold size.

Diesel Vintage Series Maduro was first released in 2023, while Vintage Series Natural hit shelves in 2024. Vintage Series Maduro combines the quality of aged tobacco with a unique style and tasting notes Diesel fans have come to know and love. Similarly, Natural offers a smooth and spicy smoking experience that’s equally complex and bold. Both Vintage Series Maduro and Natural contain filler tobaccos aged between 5-8 years, and both lines will now feature the new Gigante frontmark as a full-time addition to their lineups.

Vintage Series Maduro boasts a rich, Mexican San Andrés wrapper above a premium blend of aged Nicaraguan Habano tobaccos for a full-bodied smoke. The follow-up, Vintage Series Natural, shares the same binder and filler tobaccos but instead includes an elegant Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. Tasting notes for Maduro include cocoa, leather, and hazelnut. Natural features tasting notes of cream, earth, and spice.

Vintage Series Maduro was born of a collaboration between AJ Fernandez and Justin Andrews, Business Development Manager of Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s (STG) North American Branded and Rest of World Divisions.

Diesel Vintage Series Maduro Gigante and Vintage Series Natural Gigante began shipping to retailers in early March. They were produced at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. The new cigars will come in 20-count boxes.
