This special-edition release is a bold new addition to the legendary Antaño CT line.

Estelí, Nicaragua – Joya de Nicaragua proudly introduces the Antaño CT “Gran Cónsul”, a bold, new addition to the legendary Antaño CT line. This special-edition release is available exclusively to Joya de Nicaragua Club de Amigos of JDN members, with only 250 boxes produced.

For over two decades, the Antaño name has stood as a symbol of richness, complexity, character, and resilience. The Antaño CT shattered expectations by redefining Connecticut-wrapped cigars, blending smooth elegance with a complex taste profile. Now, for the first time, this acclaimed blend is presented in the Gran Cónsul (4 ¾ x 60) vitola, delivering deep, rich flavors while maintaining its signature balance.

The “Gran Cónsul” vitola has been a staple in other Antaños, but never before in Antaño CT—until now. It follows in the footsteps of the Antaño CT “Robusto”, which was named Halfwheel’s Cigar of the Year in 2019. The Club de Amigos of JDN program offers our most loyal partners exclusive access to truly special releases.

The Antaño CT “Gran Cónsul” joins past exclusives like Número Uno “L’attaché”, Antaño CT “Lonsdale”, and Clásico Medio Siglo “Gordo”, reinforcing our commitment to those dedicated retailers who proudly carry Joya de Nicaragua.

Cinco de Cinco Gordo TAA Exclusive is further distinguished by the TAA Exclusive Series emblem, underscoring its rarity and prestige. This limited production run will be available to TAA members during the October TAA tradeshow. With only 600 boxes being produced, this edition is a rare opportunity for collectors and cigar aficionados alike.

Wrapped in a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade leaf and filled with the finest Nicaraguan tobaccos, Antaño CT “Gran Cónsul” delivers a smoking experience that is bold yet smooth and refined. This cigar will be available in 20-count boxes with an MSRP of $11.00 per cigar and $220.00 per box.

This release will be officially unveiled this April at the PCA 2025 Convention and Trade Show in New Orleans and will begin shipping to stores in May, 2025.

Orders will be taken exclusively at the Drew Estate booth #3241, available only to Club de Amigos of JDN retailer members.
