The Blaze Report:

Appearance:

This cigar had a nice lite oily two tone brown wrapper with a subtle earthy but rich pre-light smell.  Solid to the touch this earthy stick smells great.  The foot has much more rich notes of light cocoa hay like notes as well.

1st Third:

A very slight resistance on the draw and right away the cigar provided a huge aroma that filled the room with very rich tobacco notes and some earthy bean like tones.  A nice spiciness through the nose along with a creamy texture on the palate.

2nd Third:

Full flavored smoke through to the palate.  A unique flavor with spices and rich tobacco notes continued and remained consistent throughout the 1st and 2nd third.  Earthy texture on the palate which intense through the nose with full flavored smoke.  A slow and very even burn, producing a dense, light gray ash.

Final 3rd:

Some minor touchups required but overall excellent construction with a mostly even burn that produced a long and flaky ash.  The aroma and flavor continued to develop with some woody notes that developed.  Woodiness and spices can be detected in the flavor with a very sweetness on the finish and aroma.

Making the Grade

Final Thoughts:

The cigar offered a lot of flavor with bold characters and a medium body.  There was an earthiness with spicy notes. Hey like notes that came and went still a well made cigar packed with flavor, complex  that delivered nice construction and balance
