The Blaze Report:
Appearance:
This cigar had a classic boxed pressed look, feel and appearance and shape that felt great in the hand. The wrapper was smooth and had a milk-chocolate color with a light yet rich pre-light filled with earthy cedar and floral notes. The cigar was light in the hand and had an open draw with barely any resistance.
1st Third:
Once lit, the cigar provided a nice amount of spicy, creamy textured smoke with ease. The aroma was full and rich with sweet and spicy cedar notes, which also carried over to the taste. There’s a mild body, which picked up to a mild-medium nicely balanced well with the flavorful character of the cigar. Rich with some nice spiciness through the nose along with a creamy texture on the palate.

2nd Third:
Some peppery spices along with some rich like cocoa, fermented tobacco and deep hay like notes lingered. Spices continued to develop especially noticed in the retro-haling the smoke through the nose. Nice full flavored smoke through to the palate and nose.

Final 3rd:
Creaminess was a consistent trait as were the smooth peppery spices. Nutty like notes developed as the cigar was smoke and added another dimension to the spicy creaminess of the experience. The burn was slow and extremely even, producing a dense, very long ash that didn’t want to fall off.

Making the Grade
Final Thoughts:
The cigar had plenty of earthy and woody notes that developed with some sweet hay and hints of cocoa notes in the aroma. Started off with very nice complexity and fall off later into the 2nd but flavored and characters offered a medium-plus body and flavors to make it across the finish line. An ideal smoke after a meal or if you can sit back and relax with it.
