The Blaze Report:

Appearance:

This cigar was solid to the touch well balanced in the hand with an attractive silver police looking band that had an effortless draw.  I was covered with a dark brown, oily wrapper with some noticeable touchiness.  The pre-light smell was sweet and tangy which also carried over to the pre-light taste.

1st Third:

Once lit the smoke had a spicy back-bone in the taste and the aroma, but more so on the finish of each puff and through the nose when retro-haling the smoke.  The draw was smooth and effortless which opened the door to the way for an enjoyable smoking experience. 2nd Third:

Again effortless a slow and easy burn some subtle black pepper spices was noticeable in the nose.  Intriguing flavor and aroma as the cigar was smoked down but balanced well with hints of nutty flavors and aroma was noticed in the smoke and more noticeable in the nose when retro-haling the smoke.

Final 3rd:

Again effortless a slow and easy burn some subtle black pepper spices was noticeable in the nose.  Intriguing flavor and aroma as the cigar was smoked down but balanced well with hints of nutty flavors and aroma was noticed in the smoke and more noticeable in the nose when retro-haling the smoke.

It was nutty, sweet and spicy with some cedar notes.  The burn was slow and even, which produced a long and dense gray ash.  More black pepper notes became more pronounced as the cigar was enjoyed.  Medium-full body with full spicy flavors and aromas.  It had a very long and flavorful fuller finish with spices that lingered on the palate through the back end of each puff.  A very well made flavorful cigar with an outstanding value.
