The Blaze Report:
Appearance:
This cigar had a very attractive dark brown , oily wrapper that was silky to the touch. The pre-light nose was rich and sweet with earthy, dark fruit and hay notes. It had a faint yet sweet and rich smell and taste on the dry draw. For the Gordo size felt good and solid for its size.
1st Third:
Once lit the cigar had a mouthwatering texture with a lot more, deep, sweet notes in the taste as well as in the aroma. Solid to the touch and heavy in the hand with a very smooth and effortless draw. There’s a draw smooth and effortless starting off with a Top 25 Billboard number cigar.

2nd Third:
The draw started firm but still allowed a lot of smoke to the palate. Really enjoyed the aroma that filled the air with hints of chocolate notes and dark fruit from the pre-light and it had a good amount of peppery spices through the nose, which in the 2nd developed into a creamy texture. Flavor and aroma as the cigar was smoked down but balanced well with hints of nutty flavors and aroma was noticed in the smoke.

Final 3rd:
The creamy texture lingered around and was very present on the palate. The aroma continued with hints of dark chocolate and spice notes with a consistent sweetness in the taste with some black peppery spices in the back end of each puff. Full flavored noticed nuttiness continued as the cigar was smoked down.

This was an extremely rich flavored cigar that was well balanced and had a full complex aroma and overall character. The body was medium with a fuller finish, but it developed slowly and evenly adding to the creamy, dense texture of the smoke. Yes as large as this cigar is it’s an ideal choice for pairing after dinner or when you can sit back and enjoy everything this cigar has to offer. Outstanding overall construction. Well balanced and quite an enjoyable.
