La Libertad by Villiger Cigars.
Villiger Cigars North America was established to service the premium cigar enthusiast primarily in the United States. With production from some of the most respected manufacturers in Central America and elsewhere, it is the goal of the company to introduce the finest smoking experience a premium handmade cigar has to offer. Today, and in the future, one can rest assured that when they choose a Villiger cigar, the quality of the leaf, the manufacturing, and even the packaging will be second to none.
Villiger La Libertad is a great addition to Villiger cigar selection with its classic shapes and full-bodied flavor. Made in the Dominican Republic, La Libertad is a blend of the highest quality leaves from various growing areas. The Habano seed wrapper and the Nicaraguan seed binder are both grown in Peru, while the filler is mainly Ligero tobaccos from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. The combination makes La Libertad reminiscent of the fine cigars from a bygone era.
The La Libertad had a very nice color which was even throughout. It has an oily Peruvian Habano wrapper with nice earthy tones. The overall construction was outstanding, delivering a perfectly even burn with a long ash. The cigar was full of flavor, with a good balance of the sweetness and spiciness that really cut through. It gave off nice clouds of white smoke with a pleasant aroma.
Overall, La Libertad is a light-medium bodied cigar that is nicely balanced in its flavor and extremely well rolled.
