Crossfire Maduro Cigar “Ignite The Passion”

Crossfire was born from a love for the Dominican people, their rich heritage in hand rolled premium cigars and the desire to help provide jobs, opportunity and hope in underserved communities. Their mission is to create a hand rolled premium cigar at an affordable price. They make the cigar, boxes and labels in DR to be sure that they are investing in the local economy. And, they provide employment for local workers and create a family atmosphere where they can be proud to be a part of a company dedicated to giving back.

The biggest challenge in starting Crossfire was to find a master cigar maker who shared their vision to give back to the local community. Crossfire found that maestro cigar maker in William Ventura, a veteran of the cigar industry since 1974. He started with a high end cigar company and helped grow them from seven employees to more than a thousand employees by the time he left.

The Crossfire Maduro has a silky smooth, slightly oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper. There is a subtle, earthy and sweet pre-light smell. Once lit, there was a very smooth draw with excellent construction that provided for a great ash.

Nice complex characters introduced mid-body gave way to a slow and even burn. This Maduro provided a rich aroma with a medium body full of flavors. In fact, the flavors continued to gorw in uniqueness, with a nice creamy texture towards the head. You will also get spices developing through the nose.

Overall, the Crossfire Maduro is a well-made cigar that is effortless to smoke. It is extremely smooth and stayed consistent with its great aroma throughout.
