Puros Rocha Cigars “Oily with a Silky Texture”

Brand History:

Puros Rocha Cigars are producers of high quality hand rolled cigars imported from the Dominican Republic.  The cigars are made from a unique premium blend of the finniest filler, binders and wrapper tobacco in the world.  Each cigar is created by experienced master cigar rollers.  Their goal is to forge the essence of this centuries old tradition in a way that can be appreciated by the most demanding cigar connoisseur while at the same time offering a new edge that is inviting to the average consumer.

The wrapper is oily with a silky texture and is the color of dark roasted coffee.  You will find earthy and spicy notes on the wrapper.  Once the cap is cut, a dry draw unveiled more earthiness and sweetness.

Journey Profile:

Right away, there was a full and rich aroma with thick smoke.  Firm to the touch, it had an extremely smooth and effortless draw.  Sweet and rich characters flowed through to my palate and there was more spice continuing through the nose of this cigar.  There were cedar notes with some tangy character that hit my palate, along with some creaminess.  It offered a consistent underlying sweetness and woody characteristic that developed with the profile.

Final Thoughts:

The Puros Rocha offers a very hearty smoke that has nice complexity with a medium to almost full finish.  It is a mild body cigar with overall great construction.  You will get its consistent spices, earthiness and creaminess throughout the cigar.  The flavor profile was just right and it offered plenty of billowing smoke with a fragrant, toasty aroma to enjoy.  Puros Rocha is an easy to enjoy cigar that I would definitely recommend.
