DUO by Lucky Leaf Cigars Review “very aromatic”

Brand History:

Lucky Leaf Cigars has introduced DUO – an oily Brazilian Arapiraca Maduro wrapper houses a blend of premium Dominican long-fillers and a Dominican binder. With spot-on construction and a unique blend, this cigar will deliver a full smooth flavor from beginning to end. Each DUO cigar is hand-rolled with an aged blend of Dominican long fillers with subtle added flavors of chocolate and coffee. The Maduro wrapper completes the profile with both a great smoke and burn consistency. The aftertaste is mellow and pleasant, featuring an enjoyable sweetness that relaxes your palate.

DUO has a rich and attractive brown oily wrapper that is silky smooth to the touch. Its smell is very aromatic on the body and its pre-light aroma is truly unique.

Journey Profile:

1st quarter: It produced loads of smoke with an easy draw, and hints of cocoa were present right from the start. The draw was effortless with full, sweet earthy flavors noticeable in the smoke as well.  2nd quarter: DUO was very well balanced on the palate with some herbal notes starting to develop. A nice, white flaky ash grew nicely, as did sweeter earthy notes.   3rd quarter: There was a slow build in the body and it was loaded with flavor. Solid wood notes with bigger earthy aroma filled the surrounding air.   4th quarter: Overall an outstanding construction shone through as a lot of flavor continued coming through the nose.

Final Thoughts:

The Lucky Leaf Cigars DUO was well balanced with a rich and consistently great aroma. Some earth, cocoa and sweet tones were present in the smoke and created a great flavor profile. Smooth and full flavors were present throughout this medium-body cigar and concluded with a truly tasty finish.
