Yayabo Cigars are made by Cuban immigrants who came to Nicaragua with the dream of starting a company in the demanding tobacco industry. It is a company built on family heritage, as their grandparents were tobacco producers back in Cuba, who in turn were raised in a traditional Cuban family who cultivated the leaf and hand-crafted cigars.
The company grew strong in the cultivation, production and processing of the tobacco leaf, reaching a high yield of excellent high quality tobacco being distributed to various businesses in Nicaragua and around the world. Not being satisfied with this success, they utilized their access to high quality raw materials and top notch facilities to continue pushing for a cigar that met only the highest of standards and satisfaction across the international community.
“Tabaco El Yayabo” possesses a truly unique flavor. It is completely hand-crafted under strict quality controls that reign from its cultivation to its final stage. This is what makes Cigars El Yayabo one of the best products in both quality and flavor.
The Tabaco El Yayabo cigar had an oily wrapper that was smooth to the touch. Its nice vein structure was coupled with a hearty appearance and there were a lot of sweet earthy tones on the pre-light smell.
1st quarter: A very smooth draw produced a lot of dense and flavorful smoke. Some creamy texture along with spices was present in the nose. A full and rich aroma filled the room as soon as the cigar was lit. 2nd quarter: There were some wood notes and a light spice that continued into the aroma and onto the palate. A very pleasant, flavorful aroma dominated this portion of the cigar. 3rd quarter: An underlying sweetness was detected with more wood and spice present. A rich aroma continued to fill the room with its cedar and lightly creamy texture. 4th quarter: Strength and flavors developed in the aroma with an intensifying spice through the nose. These spices continued to linger all the way through to the finish.
The Tabaco El Yayabo is a medium bodied cigar with a consistently rich and flavorful character. Hints of sweet tones, cedar and some creaminess developed throughout the smoke. It is a very well made cigar that was effortless to enjoy.
