Wrapped in a Ecuadorian Habano wrapper a very great looking color. There’s an oily and leathery look to it. Solid to the touch and a sweet and rich hay like smells with hints of floral notes. A smooth draw which continued through to the burn producing a long and dense ash..
Once lit the cigar produced a super rich aroma filled with pepper spice and some cedar notes. A touch of sweetness while some more peppery spice was introduced to the Palate. Also getting some woody notes my nose on the retro. Really feeling the flaky white ash very dense.
There was a slight creamy texture with some creamy texture followed by a slight peppery spice on the finish. Some rich earthy tones with some cedar and cocoa note on the palate and in the surrounding air.
The texture and flavor profile for the most part was steady thru the 2/3rd but picking up some earthiness and maybe hints of dry fruits on my palate.
The pepper remained very pleasant it never took control of the cigar. Staying steady as it developed all the way down to the nub. The draw and burn was good with some touch-ups here and there. While woody notes continue to linger in the back of the WCD 127 profile.
I must say I didn’t have the opportunity to smoke the Tatuaje WCD 127 when it came out and I am very glad I grabbed it. The WCD 127 Tatuaje Limited Edition is a retail exclusive cigar provided by Tatuaje Cigars to Civil Cigar Lounge in Washington DC. It was a spicy cigar with some complex character. Flavors and aroma continued to develop into a medium strength and an almost medium to full body. An very well made and good value. A effortless smoking experience to the end.
