The cigar itself is worthy of being the subject of such conversations. It too has its own unique story. It is blended with tobacco aged in finest Scotch single malt whisky casks. This suffuses the cigar with a unique complexity, depth and the most heady of flavors, creating its own atmosphere, stimulating your palate and the conversation at the same time.
To reflect the darkness during which Sir Winston was at his most creative, Davidoff has selected a shiny and oily Habano Ecuador wrapper in a beautiful dark chocolate color.
The two Nicaraguan filler tobaccos are grown in the mineral rich volcanic soils of Condega and Estelì, adding spiciness and depth of character to the cigar. The Nicaraguan Condega Visus tobacco, aged in Scotch single malt whisky casks, gives a mysterious sweetness and depth of flavor.
Together with the two different Dominican Visus filler tobaccos and the dark Mexican binder, the complexity of this full bodied blend manifests itself in many beautiful, robust flavors. The aromas tantalize the palate with varying layers of black pepper, dark coffee, sweetness, old leather, wood and spiciness.

Given approval, the blends go into the skilled hands of torcedores, cigar-rolling craftsmen who work in pairs.
One selects by touch alone exactly the right amount of tobacco for a pleasurable draw and full effulgence of taste.
The other rolls the bundle, placing the aromatic tips of the leaves at the foot or lit end of the cigar for a serene balance of flavour.
Later, upon inspection, cigars are measured for diameter and weighed to ensure the sensitivity of the “torcedores” handiwork to exact specifications.
