    Appearance:Wrapped in a Ecuadorian Habano wrapper a very great looking color. There’s an oily and leathery look to it. Solid to the touch and a sweet and rich hay like smells with hints of floral notes. A smooth draw which continued through to the burn producing a long and dense ash..

Final Thoughts:

I must say I didn’t have the opportunity to smoke the Tatuaje WCD 127 when it came out and I am very glad I grabbed it. The WCD 127 Tatuaje Limited Edition is a retail exclusive cigar provided by Tatuaje Cigars to Civil Cigar Lounge in Washington DC. It was a spicy cigar with some complex character. Flavors and aroma continued to develop into a medium strength and an almost medium to full body. An very well made and good value. A effortless smoking experience to the end.

Crux “Bull and Bear” Cigar.

 Wrapper:Habano Jalapa

Binder: Nicaragua

Filler: Nicaragua

Vitola (Size): 5 1/2″ x 50

    Appearance: We smoke the Crux Bull and Bear in 2016 and now had a new look but same blend. The cigar has a great looking blue fancy band. It’s a very smooth and attractive cigar with a fantastic looking oily sheen wrapper. Keeping to the previous blend the pre-light smell of earthy and sweet tobacco notes.

Final Thoughts:

Packed with more consistent flavors. Full bodied at the end with the flavor and aroma to the match. There’s something new and different about the 2019 Crux Bull when the blend is suppose to be the same. Great burn and construction well balanced and rich and an overall excellent cigar.

Final Grade 90!

Dawn of Destiny

Filler: Honduras.

Vitola (Size): 5” x 50

    Appearance: A cigar that has a great looking appearance with a dark oily wrapper. The pre-light smell could engage anyone senses of some rich cocoa and deep hay like notes.

Final Thoughts:

An underlying sweetness on the finish. Developed into a full-flavored, well-balanced cigar. Very good construction with thick clouds of smoke with a flaky looking gray ash. Medium-full bodied whole way through with a nice complexity to the flavors.

Casa Turrent “Miami” by Alejandro Turrent Cigar

 Wrapper: Mexico (Sun Grown Connecticut)

Binder: Mexico (San Andrés Criollo)

Filler: Mexican San Andrés Criollo, Dominican Republic & Sumatra

Vitola (Size): 51/2” x 50

    Appearance: This cigar is a dark and hearty looking cigar with a deep color of brown. An attractive oily wrapper that’s silky to the touch. The pre-light was rich and sweet with a touch of earthy, dark fruit and hay like notes.

 Final Thoughts:

Very rich flavored cigar that was well balanced with a complex aroma and overall character. The body produced a medium flavor to medium strength. It grow slowly and evenly adding to the peppery dense texture fo the smoke. Outstanding overall construction. Well balanced and very enjoyable cigar.

Caldwell Eastern Standard Sungrown.

 Wrapper:Hybrid Mexican Habano

Binder: Ecuador

Filler: Dominican Republic and Mexico

Vitola (Size): 5” x 50

    Appearance: There is a gorgeous slightly oily wrapper with an even brown color. The pre-light smell was clean with some lightly sweet with some wood notes. It was silky smooth to the touch with no soft spots.

 Final Thoughts:

This a well-made and fairly complex cigar that develops all the way down to the nub. It has a very flavorful, long and spicy finish. While full bodied, it is effortless to enjoy and could easily be smoked beyond the nub. It offers hints of creaminess, cedar, and nuts – all played an important role and left a lasting impression. Packed with deep and rich flavors with a long a finish. A good flavor experience that didn’t overwhelm the palate..
