Cohiba’s 55th anniversary celebration has just begun. Aiming to enjoy all the essence of Cohiba and its history, Habanos, S.A. has organized a three-day event that will leave no Habano aficionado indifferent. On Wednesday 7th, the Welcome Cocktail will be held at the El Laguito Protocol Room and will be attended by approximately 650 lucky people, including aficionados, Habano professionals and national and international press.
Attendees will be able to enjoy the aroma and flavour of two of the brand’s very special vitolas. Under the aromas of these marvelous Habanos, they will also have the chance to enjoy the original musical offerings of several artists and discover the 2021 Habano Award nominees in their different categories.
To learn more about the work behind each Habano, a visit to the emblematic El Laguito Habano factory will take place on Thursday 8th. Around 300 people, including journalists and event guests, are expected to attend. A must-visit for any Habano Culture lover.
The following day, Cohiba will end three days of celebrations for its 55th anniversary with an exclusive Gala Dinner at the Pabexpo Fairgrounds. It will undoubtedly be a magical night in which only 650 attendees, including aficionados, national and international press, and representatives of different brands will have the opportunity to enjoy an unparalleled evening.
The celebration will offer an atmosphere charged with the essence of Cohiba with a scenography that will not leave those present indifferent with performances by artists of great national and international prestige.
One of the highlights of the gala will be the auction of two unique humidors that will be presented on-site, both Habanos produced Totally handmade with long filler and by expert cigar rollers. The proceeds will go to Cuban Public Health.
All in all, the so-called “Cohiba Year” will be presented to all attendees with events and activities to mark the 55th anniversary of the success of the world’s most prestigious premium cigar brand.
