woodford reserve 2025 kentucky derby 151 bottle.
Woodford Reserve®, the Presenting Sponsor of the Kentucky Derby®, is honoring “The Greatest Two Minutes in Sports” with the release of its 2025 commemorative Derby bottle. This year’s special release celebrates the 151th running of the Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports. This year’s bottle features the artwork of artist Humberto Lahera, known for his photorealistic paintings that blend classical techniques with contemporary influences. His painting, “Carrera Dinamica,” which translates to “Dynamic Race”, captures the energy of the Kentucky Derby with vivid colors, expressive brushstrokes and fluid motion, reflecting the spirit of the race. Woodford Reserve makes the perfect craft cocktails, including the classic Mint Julep and the Woodford Spire, featured at Churchill Downs on race day. Crafted Carefully. Drink Responsibly.

The Blaze Report:
Appearance:
This cigar has a very elegant shape with an incredibly rich pre-light smell at the foot. There’s some noticeable oils with a slightly veiny appearance. Silky to the touch and overall smooth appearance and great looking construction.
1st Third:
Right away slight resistance on the draw and right away the cigar provided a huge aroma that filled the air with very rich tobacco notes and some earthy cocoa tones. Developing creamy texture on the palate with a nice spiciness through the nose that quickly intensified.

2nd Third:
A nicely slow and even burn lead to some great flavors with spices and rich tobacco notes that continued to stay consistent throughout the second third. Beautiful earthy texture on the palate which carried through to the nose with full flavored smoke. Full flavored smoke through to the palate.

Final 3rd:
A very smooth draw allowed a lot of rich, full flavored smoke through to the palate. Medium-full body with a very long and full finish. Creamy texture on the palate with a perfect amount of spices through the nose. The aroma and flavor continued to grow with hints of earthiness notes that developed.

Outstanding construction with a very slight resistance on the draw and a slow even burn that produced a long, nearly white ash. The cigar notes came and consistently stayed present through-out the profile. The cigar maintained an exceptional rich aroma. Overall an outstanding cigar that is brimming with flavor a complexities. It had a solid medium body with a long, flavorful finish. An extremely well made cigar that is packed with flavor and spice.
