Brand Profile:

The Micallef Migdalia Toro is a carefully aged, medium strength cigar that is hand crafted in Nicaragua. Its oily, dark Mexican San Andres wrapper is artfully draped over a Sumatra binder, which houses a filler made of premium tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The Blaze Report:

Appearance:

Evenly colored brown attractive wrapper that was solid to the touch and had a slightly oily brown wrapper with a subtle yet rich pre-light smell of wood and cocoa notes.

1st Third:

Up front there’s a very smooth draw that provided a lot thick and flavorful smoke.  The cigar provided a huge aroma that filled the air with very rich tobacco notes and some earthy tones.  Hints of underlying sweet tones with spices through the nose.

2nd Third:

Developing creamy texture on the palate with a more spiciness through the nose.  Full flavored smoke through to the palate and a with a very long and full finish.  slow and even burn lead to some great flavors with spices and rich tobacco notes.

Final 3rd:

Extremely flavorful with a mouth watering texture.  Also a creamy texture that was introduced to the body as the cigar was smoked.  Full flavored with a rich and spicy aroma.  That held a slow and even burn that held on to a dense ash.  A nice amount of clean tobacco notes through the nose with a nice flavor profile.  The aroma and flavor continued with full flavored smoke through to the palate.
